The Hidden Predator Act bills have “dropped” in the Maryland General Assembly. HB263 and SB134 were pre-filed by Delegate C.T. Wilson and Senator Shelley Hettleman. So our journey begins!
And there is much work to do. The Maryland General Assembly convenes on January 13th and we already have our Senate Hearing scheduled for February 2nd.
Consider Submitting Testimony
Because the Legislative Sessions will be virtual, oral testimony has been significantly curtailed, but there is no limit on written testimony. If you would like to submit testimony, please contact Judy Lorenz at jlorenz@verizon.net. Those who submitted testimony last year, can resubmit your same testimony again. If you have never submitted testimony, we can help you navigate through the process. If you wish to submit anonymous testimony, Judy can help submit it in a protected manner.

Our partners at No More Stolen Childhoods will be developing a video that will have a montage of supporters at the end. If you would like to be a part of that, the instructions are here. So that they have time to compile the montage, please submit to them by January 7th.
